Do my customers have to be
online every time they access my locked product?
No. If they've validated their purchase
previously they will be able to access your product without being
connected. However, you have the ability to specify the number of
days before your product MUST check in with our servers. This way
if they simply set their firewall to block access to the internet
after they've unlocked your product (to try to trick the Virtual
Vault) it will automatically become disabled after X amount of
days. They have to check in periodically to validate.

Exactly how does the Virtual
Vault protect my software/e-book?
It works by locking and encrypting your file. Then
your file can only be unlocked using a valid
access code, whish is generated only after a person
comes through your order process.
This access code is
delivered to
your customer via
email. The customer runs your locked
file and inputs their access code when prompted. If this access code is entered correctly they are
granted access. Then it logs an entry onto the users PC, also encrypted,
matching that user and that PC with that product ID and that access
code. Now, that access code only works for that valid user, it
does not
work for others. Then it requires a validation with the server at
intervals set by you, the merchant, to ensure the code remains valid and
they remain a customer in good standing. At any time you may monitor
and administer user rights through your stats
panel. You can monitor what access codes
have been created, for what users, and all the users'
details including full name, time of registration, IP address and email
address. And you can revoke access from a refunded customer
or export all of your customer data
to a .csv file at any time.
No cookies are used in the validation
process.

How easy is it for my paying customers to get my locked product?
Extremely easy. The only difference from
your customers'
viewpoint is that they will be asked to fill in
a short registration form to receive an
access code for your product. This
access code will be emailed to them immediately after they order. After they
input their access code the first time they
access your product they will never be asked for it
again (unless they try to trick the Virtual
Vault). And their access code can only be used
once to unlock your product, so the same
code
can't be used by others (thieves).

Do you collect my
customers' information?
Absolutely not. Your customer data is
exactly that, your data. You may use your stats page to
export all your customer data in a .csv file but again, this is
for your purposes only. We will never contact your customers or
use their information in any way.

Is it really
easy to set up?
Yes, most definitely. If you can change the Thank-You page
location in your ClickBank/PaySystems/2Checkout/Paypal account, you can protect your product
from software thieves and freebie-seekers once and for all. It is
extremely easy to install!

Does the Virtual Vault
protect PDF files?
We are pleased to announce...YES!
This was a very tricky task, but you can now protect your PDF
files from being distributed freely. The Virtual Vault gives you
complete control over the use of your PDF file, and doesn't cost
thousands of dollars per year like our closest competitor.
Keep in mind that your PDF file will become
an EXE file when it is locked.

What if a customer loses
their unlock code?
No problem. You simply use your "Master Key" to generate a new
unlock code for them, then email it to them.

What if a customer needs
to re-install my product?
Easy. You simply provide them with a locked copy
of your product. The Virtual Vault will
remember if they've validated previously and won't ask them to do
so again.

What happens if I'm not happy with the Virtual Vault?
We can't see that happening. But in the rare off-chance that
it does simply let us know and your
membership will be promptly cancelled. You will no longer be able to
generate access codes for your locked product(s). Locked copies
that are already distributed will remain protected. |
